Install Auto Shop Base as an app

Faster, full-screen, gets push notifications, works just like an app from the store — without going to the store.

Safari only — Chrome and Firefox on iOS can't install apps

    Open Safari
    Tap Safari (the blue compass icon). If you're already in Safari on this page, great — keep going.

    Go to autoshopbase.com
    Type the URL into the address bar and sign in.
  3. 3
    Tap the Share button
    At the bottom of the screen, find the square-with-an-arrow-up icon ⤴︎ and tap it.

    Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
    It's in the list under the Share row.

    Tap "Add" in the top right
    Done. Auto Shop Base is now on your home screen, behaving like any other app.

    Open Chrome
    Auto Shop Base needs Chrome (or another Chromium browser like Edge / Brave) on Android.

    Go to autoshopbase.com
    Sign in.

    Tap the ⋮ menu
    Three vertical dots at the top right of Chrome.

    Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home Screen"
    The wording varies by Chrome version — both options install the same thing.

    Tap "Install"
    Done. Auto Shop Base is in your app drawer with its own icon.

Chrome, Edge, or Brave on Mac / Windows / Linux

    Open Chrome or Edge
    Safari on Mac doesn't support installing web apps — use Chrome / Edge / Brave instead.

    Go to autoshopbase.com and sign in

    Look for the install icon in the address bar
    At the right end of the address bar (next to the bookmark star) you’ll see a small icon — a computer with a down arrow, or a tile with a plus.

    Click it, then click "Install"
    Auto Shop Base opens in its own window — no browser tabs, no clutter. Pinnable to the dock / taskbar.

Stuck? Common gotchas

I'm on iPhone and I don't see the Share button

You're probably in Chrome or Firefox. Those don't support installing on iOS — only Apple's Safari does. Copy this URL, paste it into Safari, and try again.

I tapped Install on Android but nothing happened

Some Android Chromes need a hard refresh after first visit before they'll offer install. Close all Chrome tabs, reopen autoshopbase.com, and try the ⋮ menu again.

Already installed but I want to reinstall

Long-press the app icon → Remove / Uninstall, then come back to this page. The browser thinks it's still installed for a few minutes after removal — wait, then refresh.
